About Favourite Place Prints

Favourite Place Prints makes art prints of the places people love: the courts, courses, circuits, cities and campuses that mean something to them. A print of somewhere you have played, visited, studied or simply dream about is a lovely thing to live with, and that is what we try to make.

Who are we?

Favourite Place Prints is the trading name of Favourite Place Prints Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. We sell online at printsofplaces.com.

Hi, I'm Richard. I started the shop because I couldn't find reliable prints of my favourite tennis tournaments, and there was more and more AI-generated content out there. So I decided to hand-design my own.

That is the idea behind every print: a design made by hand, by a person, of a place that matters to you – not AI-generated artwork.

What do we sell?

Every design in the shop is a print of a real place:

  • Tennis prints – posters of Grand Slam and tour venues such as Wimbledon, Roland Garros and the US Open, in illustrated and minimalist court styles. Tennis prints
  • Golf course prints – famous courses including St Andrews, Pebble Beach and Augusta National, plus Open Championship venues. Golf course prints
  • Formula 1 track posters – track-map posters of Grand Prix circuits and British circuits such as Brands Hatch, in blue or white versions. F1 track posters
  • City and travel prints – London, New York, Paris, California, Scotland, and cities and coastlines across Europe. Travel posters
  • Campus map prints – street-map prints of university campuses such as Harvard, Stanford and MIT. Campus map prints

We also make college football and football stadium prints.

How are our prints made?

Every print is made to order. When you place an order, it is printed by our print partner at the production studio closest to you, which keeps delivery distances short.

  • Paper: matte, smooth, non-reflective paper, 170 gsm (65 lb) and 0.19 mm thick, made from FSC-certified materials or equivalent.
  • Frames: if you choose a framed print, it comes in a pine frame, 20–25 mm thick and 10–14 mm wide, with a shatterproof plexiglass front. There is no mount, so the artwork fills the frame. Framed prints arrive ready to hang.
  • Choice: most designs come in eight sizes, from 13x18 cm to 70x100 cm, unframed or in a black, white or natural wood frame. See our size guide and frame guide.

Delivery and returns

  • Free delivery on every order.
  • Dispatch: 1–3 business days for unframed prints and 2–5 business days for framed prints.
  • Free returns within 14 days of receipt.

A note on our event and venue prints

Our tennis, golf, Formula 1 and stadium prints are independent artworks created by us. They are not official merchandise of, and are not endorsed by, any tournament, club, circuit, team, league or university shown.
